Art-Inspired Violence: A Followup

It is not often that Los Santos Diatribes has a story that continues past the first breaking headlines-- a sequel, if you will. And, while sequels are rarely as good as the original, sometimes a thrilling conclusion or juicy details are enough to sate the audience. So, what's on the menu today? Well, as it happens, we spoke to the subject of the "Art Thief or Influencer?" herself, Blair Dalton, who let us know what happened once Twitter went silent that evening. About 30 minutes after the very public conflict between Eddie Concord and Blair Dalton started to wind down on Twitter, Blair found herself sitting at Hanging Gardens with a few of her friends. One of the staff members on shift had mentioned that the "Raccoon Gang" (also known as the Medlins to some) had been making some not-so vague threats to the tune of shutting Dalton's business down-- or her life. The artist stepped outside of Hanging Gardens and noticed a woman with a bird mask circling the area. Focused on her friends, Blair didn't think anything of it. Unbeknownst to her, this woman had been looking for her, and had a sinister goal in mind. The woman approached her, asking "Are you Blair Dalton?" Blair, of course, said yes. The woman then revealed she was armed with a knife and quickly stabbed Blair with it. She was met with gunfire in response from at least one bystander. The woman in question? None other than Traci Shnarski, one of Eddie Concord's friends. It should be known, however, that Eddie did not endorse, plan, or condone the actions of Shnarski. Traci did not act entirely alone, though, and it was later revealed that two others (Roscoe Waters and one other still unnamed individual) had taken part in this violent plan. Waters himself admitted that he had actually planned to kidnap Blair. To what end? No one is entirely sure-- except perhaps Waters himself. Waters, Shnarski, and the unnamed individual later turned themselves in as part of an agreement to move forward and put the conflict to bed. Part of this deal involved being very public with the admission, as a tweet from Traci later showed.

Blair states that since this incident, she and Eddie have managed to put their feud behind them. Blair also wanted to clarify that while much of her art is AI-assisted, her vehicle drawings are all entirely hand-drawn. At this point, we can safely say that Blair puts blood, sweat, and tears into her work. "In any art you’re allowed to steal anything if you can make it better."
