The Day The Music Was Reborn

Behind an unassuming building just outside of Vinewood, recognizable currently only by its satellites and blinking radio tower, lies Euphoric FM and the brilliant minds behind it. Not to be outdone or outshone by a predecessor, Los Santos Underground, Euphoric FM has its own major team at the helm- Jason Tucker (owner), Charlotte Baker, Wyatt McKenzie, Karmen Brown, and Rory Tanner.

When Los Santos Underground folded, the radio waves were silent, and Tucker took notice. "One day I went to tune into the radio, realized it wasn't working, so I did it [tuned in] a few days later, went 'Oh, it's still not working,' and realized [LSU] wasn't a thing at all. I went up to Wyatt (McKenzie) and said 'Hey Wyatt, you know a lot of things around the city, do you know what happened to LSU?" While the answer was unknown at first, a couple of days after the truth was revealed- that Los Santos Underground was no more. Jason Tucker's response to this was to take charge and create a new radio station, though it came to be as a passing thought of 'Wouldn't it be funny if...' 24 hours later, Tucker found himself submitting the official business application paperwork to DoCL, with Wyatt's encouragement. Euphoric FM is in its infancy, but the passion behind the work isn't. "I've always really enjoyed the music scene around the city," Tucker admitted. "The lack of the radio really felt like there was a huge disconnect between the people of San Andreas and the music scene. The radio gives people a way to experience the talented people of San Andreas." "And still be involved even by not going to their concerts," McKenzie chimed in. With how large the city is, it can often be prohibitive due to time or venue capacity to attend many of the concerts of Los Santos. Euphoric FM currently has its own DJ Eugene (an algorithm) that plays over 5 labels and 39 artists in rotation, for a 13-hour block, giving each artist a chance to be heard. There are times when you may hear the same song within an hour, especially if it's a premiered song. They're hoping to add more artists and even segments such as interviews and clips to their rotation, along with plans to attend live events for coverage in the future. Although they're currently only funded by business advertisements, there are ways to support the Radio station-- reach out, if you're an artist, and get your songs on the air-- or better yet, LISTEN IN!

Euphoric FM is available on any hand-held radio station, or at Euphoric.fm
