Whilst in a foot-chase in the middle of Palamino Freeway earlier tonight, Los Santos Police Department discharged their firearms into traffic, putting numerous individuals at risk. The four men being pursued returned fire in self-defense and three of them were shot. An EMT responded to the scene and told the Officers to basically 'Handle it themselves' and take the men to Pillbox, so long as they could keep them stable-- our tax dollars hard at work, Guys, Gals, and Enby Pals.
Afterward, these men were taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, despite the fact they returned initial fire. Alongside the charges, a more sinister situation unfolded. Whilst one man was cuffed in a cell in one of the Police Departments near Mission Row, Officer McNairy told fellow Law Enforcement Officers to turn their backs. Once all had their backs turned, he proceeded to ram this cuffed and compliant man's head against a cell wall and threw him to the ground.
Bearing in mind, this man was already injured prior and received further injuries whilst in this Police Department cell. The patient reported he was told by the doctor, later able to seek treatment, that "injuries were consistent with trauma while in holding". (Quote taken from victim after being released from the hospital after a post-jail examination.) As if the humiliation and injury weren't enough, they were stripped of their phones and basic right to bear arms, with nothing offered back to them post release. In this day and age, imagine even trying to get a regular job without that priceless piece of tech tucked into your pocket! Corruption and brutality in our police department? Sadly, it's more likely than you think. We're watching you, McNairy.
